FOLD, UNFOLD

Fold, Unfold is an exhibit that encourages people to see and understand human interaction grounded in city service. This exhibit is anchored by a 12' long hand papercut made out of a single sheet of Tyvek paper. Exploring and celebrating the culture of Ellisville MO, Fold, Unfold, the installation sets off the rich colors of the brick building in full effect by creating a sharp contrast against the pattern on the walls. Color, light and materials fold and unfold within the building as you move throughout the space. The series of visual elements are all designed to be seen from different points of view, with contrasting micro and macro levels of detail. The pieces were installed to represent growth in the area and attract new residents and businesses to live locally.
