Hand cut from a single piece of Tyvek paper, Spirituality of flight takes its inspiration from the humble butterfly. Each marking within the paper follows its own pattern creating a chaotic composition. This sculptural installation references the human dream to touch the sky. The ubiquitous paper lose its real functionality, and instead becomes an ephemeral object that is able to trigger the eyes and minds of the viewers, and lead them into a dream world. The movement of the sun causes singular patterns to appear in shadow on floor and walls throughout the day.
