Vessels of light is a cluster of undulating forms that play with light and shadow to evoke a sense of sunlight escaping through clouds. Drawing from the idea of floating within a cloud in suspended gravity, I made perforations to conjure illusions of flickering sunlight to create areas of warmth and shade. Aspiring to create a serene and peaceful environment from which viewers can reflect and breathe, this installation would offer the viewer a moment of escapism and provide the space with a unique identity.  

Vessels was a installed at DOT ZACK as a juried temporary installation for the 2018 Fringe festival in St. Louis MO.
